Scripture: Isaiah 6:8–9 (KJV)
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
Reflection
God is always calling His people to rise up and serve. He is not merely looking for talent, ability, or status—He is looking for a willing heart. Isaiah was overwhelmed by the holiness of God, but once he was cleansed and touched by the Lord, he responded without hesitation: “Here am I; send me.”
The world today still needs the truth of God’s Word. Many hear, but do not understand. Many see, but do not perceive. Yet God still asks, “Whom shall I send?”
Every believer has a role in the Great Commission. Your mission field might be your family, your workplace, your church, your community, or someone you’ll meet today. The question is: Are you willing to go where God sends you?
The true disciple doesn’t wait until they feel perfectly ready — they respond in faith.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for calling me into Your service. Give me a heart like Isaiah’s — willing, surrendered, and obedient. Cleanse me, shape me, and use my life for Your glory. Open my eyes to the people around me who need to hear Your truth. Strengthen me to speak Your Word with boldness, compassion, and love.
Lord, today I say, Here am I; send me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
