February 24 – Faith Comes by Hearing

Scripture (KJV) – Romans 10:17

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Reflection

Faith does not grow by feelings. It does not come from circumstances. It does not develop because everything is going well. According to Scripture, faith comes by hearing — and hearing by the Word of God.

That means if we want stronger faith, we must spend time in God’s Word. The more we hear it, read it, study it, and meditate on it, the more our trust in Him increases. The Word builds confidence in God’s promises. It reminds us of His faithfulness. It anchors us when life feels uncertain.

In a world filled with noise, opinions, and fear, we must choose what we are listening to. If we constantly hear doubt, our faith weakens. But when we consistently hear truth, faith rises.

If you need stronger faith today, open your Bible. Listen to Scripture. Sit under sound teaching. Let the Word of God shape your thinking. Faith will follow.

Prayer

Father,
Thank You for giving me Your Word. Help me to be intentional about hearing it daily. Guard my ears from voices that pull me away from truth. Strengthen my faith as I read, study, and meditate on Scripture. Let Your Word take root in my heart and produce bold, steady trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
