Scripture (KJV) – Psalm 119:105
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
Reflection
Life does not always come with clear directions. There are seasons where the path ahead feels uncertain, and you may wish you could see the whole journey laid out in front of you. But God, in His wisdom, does something different—He gives you light for the next step.
His Word is not always a spotlight that reveals the entire road. It is a lamp—just enough light to guide your next move. This requires trust. It means walking by faith, not by sight, relying on God step by step.
When you stay in His Word, you stay in His guidance. It corrects you, directs you, and keeps you from wandering into places that could harm you. Even in dark seasons, God’s Word never loses its power to lead.
You don’t need to have everything figured out today. You just need to follow the light He has given you right now. One step in obedience leads to the next, and over time, God faithfully leads you exactly where you need to be.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that guides my life. When I feel uncertain, help me to trust the light You have given me for today. Teach me to walk step by step in obedience, even when I cannot see the whole path ahead. Keep me grounded in Your truth and lead me in the way I should go. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
