Scripture (KJV) – Malachi 3:6
“For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”
Reflection
We live in a world where everything seems to change. Circumstances change, relationships change, governments change, and even our emotions can change from one day to the next. Yet in the middle of an ever-changing world stands one unchanging truth: God never changes.
His character is perfect. His promises never fail. His love is steadfast, His mercy is everlasting, and His Word remains true for every generation. Because God never changes, we can trust Him completely, even when life feels uncertain. The same God who was faithful to Abraham, Moses, David, and the apostles is the same God who walks with us today.
This truth should also bring conviction to our hearts. While God never changes, He calls us to change. He desires to transform us into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. Every day we should become more loving, more faithful, more obedient, and more like our Savior. His unchanging holiness should inspire us to pursue a life that honors Him.
Whatever you are facing today, remember that the God who has carried His people through every generation is still on His throne. He has not forgotten you, and He will remain faithful until the very end.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that You never change. In a world filled with uncertainty, You remain my constant source of hope, peace, and strength. Help me to trust Your promises even when I cannot see what lies ahead. Continue Your work of transforming my heart so that I will become more like Jesus Christ each day. Give me the courage to stand firmly upon Your unchanging Word and to faithfully serve You until the day I see You face to face. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
