Scripture (KJV) — Revelation 12:9
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
Reflection
This verse reveals the true nature of Satan—he is a deceiver whose aim is to mislead the whole world. From the beginning, his strategy has been lies, distortion, and confusion.
Yet Revelation reminds us that his power is limited and his defeat is certain. He has been cast down, and his end is already written.
For believers, this truth calls us to stay anchored in God’s Word. Discernment grows when we walk closely with Christ, test everything against Scripture, and remain alert in prayer.
Though deception surrounds us, truth prevails, and victory belongs to the Lamb.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for revealing the truth about the enemy and the victory we have in Christ. Guard my heart and mind from deception, and help me to walk in discernment and wisdom.
Keep me rooted in Your Word, alert in prayer, and confident in the victory You have already secured. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
