Scripture Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)
“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”
Reflection
God’s blessings are different from the world’s version of success. What the world calls “riches” often comes with anxiety, regret, or emptiness. But when the Lord blesses, His gifts bring peace, purpose, and joy—not sorrow.
This verse reminds us that true prosperity begins with God. His blessing enriches the soul first, shaping our hearts before it ever touches our circumstances.
When we walk in obedience and trust Him fully, what He provides will never steal our peace or pull us away from Him.
God’s blessing may not always look like material wealth, but it always produces contentment, gratitude, and lasting fulfillment.
What comes from the Lord is always good—and always enough.
Prayer
Gracious Father,
Thank You for Your blessings that bring peace and joy. Help me to seek You above all else and to trust You as my true source.
Guard my heart from chasing things that cannot satisfy, and teach me to rest in what You have provided.
May my life reflect gratitude for the rich blessings You freely give.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
