Scripture — Romans 14:12 (KJV)
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Reflection
This verse is a sobering reminder that every believer is personally accountable to God.
One day, each of us will stand before Him—not to answer for others, but to give an account of our own lives.
Our choices, motives, words, and actions all matter in light of eternity.
Paul’s message calls us away from judging others and back to examining our own hearts. Knowing that we will answer to God should not produce fear, but holy reverence and a desire to live faithfully.
When we keep eternity in view, we are encouraged to walk in obedience, humility, and love—seeking to honor God in every area of life.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Help me to live each day with the awareness that my life belongs to You.
Teach me to walk in obedience, integrity, and humility, knowing that I will one day give an account to You.
Search my heart, guide my steps, and help me to live in a way that honors You and reflects Your truth to others.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
