March 2 – Faith That Sees Beyond

Scripture (KJV) – Hebrews 11:1

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Reflection

Faith is not wishful thinking. It is substance. It is confidence anchored in the character of God. Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that faith gives reality to what we are hoping for and assurance about what we cannot yet see.

We do not always see the answer to our prayers. We do not always see immediate change in our circumstances. We do not always see the full picture of what God is doing behind the scenes. Yet faith stands firm anyway.

Faith says:
• God is working even when I cannot see it.
• God is faithful even when I do not understand it.
• God’s promises are true even before they are fulfilled.

Faith is trusting God’s Word over our feelings. It is believing His promises over our problems. It is walking forward in obedience while the outcome is still hidden.

Today, choose to trust Him. What you cannot see, He already knows. What you are hoping for, He is able to bring to pass in His perfect time.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for teaching me what true faith is. Help me to trust You even when I cannot see the outcome. Strengthen my confidence in Your promises. When doubt tries to creep in, remind me that You are faithful and true. Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight. I place my hope fully in You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
