Scripture (KJV) – Revelation 21:4
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Reflection
What a powerful promise from God—every tear wiped away by His own hand. In this life, we experience pain, loss, heartbreak, and sorrow. But this verse reminds us that suffering is not eternal—God’s glory is.
There is coming a day when death will be no more, grief will be gone, and pain will have no place. Everything broken will be made whole. Every hurt will be healed. Every burden will be lifted. This is not wishful thinking—this is a guaranteed promise from God.
For the believer, this world is not the end of the story. The trials we face now are temporary, but the joy that is coming is everlasting. No matter what you are going through today, hold on. God sees every tear, and one day, He will personally wipe them all away.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the promise of a future where pain and sorrow will be no more. In the middle of life’s struggles, help me to hold onto the hope of eternity with You. Strengthen my heart when I feel weary, and remind me that what I face today is only temporary. Thank You for seeing every tear and for the day when You will wipe them all away. I trust You, Lord, and I look forward to the joy that is to come.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
