November 21 — Philippians 3:20

Scripture: Philippians 3:20 (KJV)
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Reflection:
Paul reminds us that our true citizenship is not of this world, it is in heaven. While we live, work, and serve here on earth, our identity, our hope, and our ultimate home are with Christ. This world is temporary, but our relationship with Jesus is eternal.
Because our citizenship is heavenly, our mindset should be heavenly as well. We are called to live with eternity in view—seeking things above, walking in holiness, and representing Christ wherever we go. And as we wait, we do not wait aimlessly. We wait with expectation, because our Savior is coming again.
Every trial, every sacrifice, every moment of faithfulness is worth it, because we belong to a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Lift your eyes today, your Savior is coming, your future is secure, and your home is in heaven.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the promise that my citizenship is in heaven. Help me to live each day with my eyes fixed on You and my heart anchored in eternity. Teach me to walk in holiness, to represent Your kingdom well, and to live with joyful expectation of Your return. Strengthen my faith and keep my mind set on things above. In Your precious name, Amen.
