“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
Reflection:
This verse is a powerful reminder of the authority and victory believers have through Jesus Christ. The world is filled with spiritual battles, temptations, and influences that seek to pull us away from God. But John encourages us with absolute confidence, we have already overcome through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us.
The enemy may attack, but he cannot defeat a child of God who stands in the strength of the One who dwells inside them. The pressures of life may feel heavy, but God’s presence in you is stronger than any force against you. When fear rises, remember God is greater. When doubt whispers, God is greater. When trials test your faith, God is greater.
Your victory is not based on your ability, it is based on His power working in you. Walk in confidence today.

Father, thank You for the assurance that You are greater than anything I face in this world. Strengthen my heart and remind me daily that Your Spirit lives within me.
