The Bible is not just a history book, a collection of ancient writings, or inspirational sayings. It is God-breathed — meaning it came from the very heart and mind of God. Every verse carries purpose. Every chapter contains guidance. Every story reveals truth. Every command shapes our walk.
God’s Word teaches us what is right (doctrine).
It reveals when we are wrong (reproof).
It shows us how to get back on the right path (correction).
And it trains us to stay there (instruction in righteousness).
If we are to grow spiritually, we must not merely own a Bible — we must open it, read it, believe it, and live it.
Let God’s Word speak to you today. Let it encourage, challenge, correct, and strengthen you. The Bible is not just information — it is transformation.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Holy Word. Thank You that it is alive, powerful, and written for my guidance. Help me to approach Scripture with a teachable heart. Correct me where I am wrong, strengthen me where I am weak, and instruct me in the way that leads to life. Fill me with a desire to read, study, and apply Your Word daily. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
