October 31 – 2 Corinthians 6:17

Scripture (KJV): 2 Corinthians 6:17
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

Reflection:
This verse is a reminder that as followers of Christ, we are called to live differently from the world. The Lord instructs us to separate ourselves from sin, ungodly influences, and anything that opposes His truth. This does not mean we avoid people—Jesus loved and reached people—but it means we guard our hearts and our walk.
Separation is not about isolation; it is about dedication. When we choose to live for God, He welcomes us into deeper fellowship with Him. The closer we walk with Christ, the less room there is for darkness. Today, check your influences, your surroundings, and your habits. Make the choice to stand apart for God’s glory.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to a life that is holy and set apart for You. Give me the strength to turn away from any influence, habit, or relationship that draws me away from Your will. Help me to walk in purity, righteousness, and obedience. Fill me with Your Spirit, that I may honor You in my thoughts, words, and actions. I desire to belong fully to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
