April 6 – Fear Not, God Is With You

Scripture (KJV) – Isaiah 41:10
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Reflection
Fear is something we all face, whether it comes from uncertainty, hardship, or the unknown. But in this powerful promise, God speaks directly to the heart of His people. He does not just say “fear not” without reason—He gives us the reason: “for I am with thee.” His presence is the answer to our fear.

God also reminds us that He is our God—personal, present, and powerful. He promises strength when we are weak, help when we feel overwhelmed, and support when we feel like we’re about to fall. Notice the certainty in His words: “I will strengthen thee… I will help thee… I will uphold thee.” These are not possibilities—they are guarantees from a faithful God.

No matter what you are facing today, you are not alone. The same God who spoke this promise to Israel still stands by His Word. When fear rises, remember who stands with you.

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your promise that I do not have to live in fear. Help me to trust in Your presence and not be overwhelmed by what I see around me. Strengthen me when I feel weak, guide me when I feel uncertain, and uphold me when I feel like I cannot stand. Remind me daily that You are with me, and that Your power is greater than anything I face. I place my trust fully in You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
