May 5 – Strength in Weak Moments

Scripture (KJV) – Isaiah 41:10
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Reflection
There are moments in life when you feel overwhelmed, uncertain, and weak. Fear tries to take hold, and discouragement whispers that you are alone. But God speaks directly into those moments with a command and a promise: “Fear thou not… for I am with thee.”

Your strength is not found in yourself—it is found in His presence. God does not simply tell you to be strong; He promises to be your strength. He will help you, uphold you, and carry you when you feel like you cannot take another step.

No matter what you are facing today, you are not facing it alone. The same God who created all things is holding you in His hand. When you feel weak, that is the perfect place for His strength to be revealed in your life.

Prayer
Lord, in my moments of fear and weakness, remind me that You are with me. Help me to trust in Your strength instead of my own. When I feel overwhelmed, uphold me and give me peace. Teach me to walk in faith, knowing that You are my help in every situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
