April 2 – Strength In The Lord

Scripture (KJV) – Ephesians 6:10-11
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

Reflection
God never called us to fight life’s battles in our own strength. In fact, our strength alone will always fall short. This passage reminds us that our true strength comes from the Lord and His power—not ours.

Life is a spiritual battle, whether we realize it or not. The enemy works through deception, discouragement, temptation, and fear. But God has not left us defenseless. He has given us His armor—truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, His Word, and prayer—to stand firm.

Notice it says “stand,” not “run.” Through God’s strength, we don’t have to be defeated—we can stand firm no matter what comes against us. When you feel weak, overwhelmed, or under attack, that is the moment to lean fully into God’s strength.

Victory doesn’t come from trying harder—it comes from trusting deeper.

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Help me to rely on Your power and not my own. Teach me to put on the whole armor You have given me so I can stand against every attack of the enemy. Strengthen my faith, guard my mind, and guide my steps today. I trust in Your power, Lord, and I stand firm in You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
